My internship with Ankita Dharman offered me the opportunity to immerse myself in the dynamic world of fashion production and design development. I played a key role in the creation of new collections, contributing to the design process while managing critical aspects of production. This hands-on experience allowed me to refine my skills in creative problem-solving, team collaboration, and operational management, bridging the gap between innovative design and efficient execution. It was a pivotal step in understanding how to bring a fashion vision to life from concept to completion.
The process began with conceptualizing silhouettes that resonated with the collection's theme, focusing on structure, fluidity, or patterns. Each silhouette was meticulously crafted to ensure it aligned with both the creative vision and production feasibility.
PRINTS
The prints for this collection were designed to reflect the brand’s essence—feminine, boho-inspired patterns that appeal to a wide range of age groups. Centered around floral motifs, the designs exude a sense of elegance while maintaining a playful, carefree charm.Each print was carefully crafted in multiple color variations to cater to diverse tastes and preferences, ensuring the collection resonates with women of all ages. These versatile prints seamlessly blend femininity with a modern bohemian aesthetic, staying true to the brand’s signature style.
DESIGN WITH PURPOSE
The final designs were crafted to reflect the brand's commitment to timeless elegance and versatility. Each piece was thoughtfully designed to cater to a broad spectrum of women, embracing diverse ages and personal styles. By staying true to the brand’s theme, we focused on creating silhouettes that exuded sophistication and confidence, while remaining functional and wearable for various occasions.The emphasis was on striking a balance between contemporary and classic aesthetics, ensuring that the designs resonated with the modern woman while maintaining the brand's core identity. This approach allowed us to create a cohesive collection that celebrates individuality and elegance across all age groups.
